Road of Spices is a cartoon-style game with a top-down perspective, featuring an action-adventure genre set in the Indonesian Spice Route. The game's main theme is the history of the Indonesian Spice Route during the Dutch East India Company (Vereenigde Oostindische Compagnie [VOC]) colonial era. Players take on the role of a cat character whose mission is to explore key regions along the Indonesian Spice Route to find spices while completing various missions closely related to real historical events that occurred during the colonial era.
